Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. The primary purpose of the Facilities Technician is to provide support throughout the facilities department to ensure and safe, healthy environment.Our Facilities Technician will assist where needed in the environmental upkeep of the HOPES Facilities. In the course of the role, this technician will perform minor maintenance, basic installation, general construction, painting, basic electrical and plumbing work, dry wall, landscaping, janitorial cleaning; use heavy duty cleaning equipment; load and unload deliveries and implement inventory control. Equally important is the ability to put our patients first, communicate with others, problem-solve on your feet and think proactively. Experience in the trades, facilities maintenance, handyman or janitorial work required. Ability to read and understand labels and Safety Data Sheets in the English language required. Excellent communication and ability to listen required. Ability to work individually and as part of a team required. Working experience in a health care environment preferred.
