The purpose of the Network/System Administrator role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HOPES organization's computer networks.

The Network/System Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure, which includes hardware, software, and communication systems. The key purpose of this role is to establish a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment that facilitates seamless communication and data transfer among various devices and users within the organization while maintaining security and compliance. The Network Administrator is in charge of the information/telecommunication technology at the center. Responsible for maintenance of those systems as well as providing Technical support to staff members as directed.  HOPES have an integrated team model approach to patient care. Part of the Network Administrator’s responsibilities include Network optimization, Virtual Machine deployment, Server architecture review, and Help Desk Tickets. As quality is every employee’s responsibility, the Network Administrator is required to uphold all standards and policies, and participate in quality improvement processes and meetings.

Position Requirements

* Due to real and potential conflicts of interest that exist when HOPES Behavioral Health providers render services to their coworkers, it is HOPES’ policy (Policy HR0005) that HOPES employees may not access HOPES Behavioral Health Services. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES. Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and understand that if you are receiving services from a HOPES Behavioral Health provider at the time you are offered and accept employment with HOPES, you have the option of rescinding your acceptance of employment or finding a new behavioral health provider outside of HOPES before starting employment with HOPES.

  • LAN/WAN experience required
  • Knowledge of public health principles and practice, primarily health data privacy and security standards required
  • Knowledge of anti-virus, email and anti-spam systems required
  • Ability to effectively present information in small group situations to patients, Center staff, and the general public required
  • Experience with EMR and data management and report writing required
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
  • Familiarity with firewalls, switches and routers required
  • EMR experience preferred

Salary Range $57,000 - $71,300 per annum
