As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Patient Services.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Vice President (VP) of Patient Services provides direction, supervision and leadership to the Director of Patient Services and the Director of Case Management/Housing. It is also the responsibility of the VP to ensure that care is provided in a respectful, compassionate and responsive manner, considering patient and agency preferences, needs and values. Of utmost importance is that each patient interaction focuses on patient experience and ultimately the quality of care provided. The VP is responsible for working with the COO to ensure completion of reports, audits, and more. The VP is also responsible for the front-end of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, supervision, and leadership to the Director of Patient Services and the Director of Case Management/Housing.
  • Ensure that care is delivered in a respectful, compassionate, and responsive manner, taking into account patient and agency preferences, needs, and values.
  • Focus on enhancing the patient experience and the quality of care provided during each patient interaction.
  • Collaborate with the COO to complete reports, audits, and other necessary tasks.
  • Responsible for the front-end of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize patient services operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the patient services departments.

Position Requirements

* Due to real and potential conflicts of interest that exist when HOPES Behavioral Health providers render services to their coworkers, it is HOPES’ policy (Policy HR0005) that HOPES employees may not access HOPES Behavioral Health Services. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES. Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and understand that if you are receiving services from a HOPES Behavioral Health provider at the time you are offered and accept employment with HOPES, you have the option of rescinding your acceptance of employment or finding a new behavioral health provider outside of HOPES before starting employment with HOPES.

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field or 5 years related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on patient services.
  • Knowledge and experience with front-end Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing patient-centered processes and initiatives.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to patient services.
