Share Email Opening Title Lighting Service Manager  Location Houston   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Compensation   Description Prism Electric is a premier Texas based electrical contractor seeking an experienced candidate to lead and grow its' existing Lighting Installation and Maintenance Services throughout the Greater Houston area. General Overview Job duties for this position will consist of the following: Design and estimating of all types of sign and lighting projects Developing and maintaining relationships with owners, management companies, etc Attending pre-bid meetings, accurately estimating hours, materials, etc, necessary to bid and secure projects Developing strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers' reps Project managing all facets of jobs sold including scheduling, material ordering, installation, QA/QC, etc Effectively track and manage projects to meet deadlines and budgets Supervising existing lighting crews Develop new lighting related business through networking and relationships Ensuring that all work is completed according to company safety standards Performing all facets of job with the highest standard of ethics at all times Skills / Experience Skills and experience required to meet the qualifications of the position: Minimum of 7 years of sign and lighting experience Minimum of 2 years supervising sign and lighting installation crews Hands-on experience with all aspects of sign and lighting installations and retrofitting Current on the latest lighting technology Experienced with multi-site lighting maintenance programs and processes Proficient at developing / maintaining relationships with owners, management companies, etc Strong drive to develop business and grow department Highly organized and detailed in all areas of job Self-motivated and understands how to set and attain goals Problem solver who has initiative Excellent communication and listening skills Strong multitasking skills Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc Only qualified candidates who are skilled and experienced in the above listed requirements need apply.
