Position Therapist - Carrollton  
Description

Join Southeast Healthcare and our integrated healthcare team as we expand services in our Carrollton location. We have a full-time position available to provide outpatient therapy to individuals with both mental health and/or substance use disorder with an emphasis on both individual and group therapies. Qualified candidate must be willing to work with individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, risk assessments, screening tools and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
  • Employ various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of patient assessments, therapy sessions, and treatment plans.
  • Provide support and resources to individuals facing challenges.
 
Position Requirements
  • Master’s degree & LSW/LPC required. 
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions.
  • Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plans.
  • Strong oral communication skills to counsel and advise patients.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes.
  • Organization skills to maintain up-to-date patient files.
  • Computer skills to operate record keeping, scheduling, and email.
