Region 4 Administrative Program Coordinator **Hybrid Telework Opportunities**  

Description

General Definition of Work

Performs difficult professional and administrative work coordinating and communicating among contractual partners involved in the delivery of crisis response services in Region 4. Consults with mobile crisis providers and call center contractor; resolves queries from providers and other system partners; establishes and maintains relationships with mobile crisis providers via exemplary customer service skills; provides training and technical support to providers and partners regarding regional Hub policies and procedures; maintains knowledge of applicable regulatory changes pertaining to service provision of mobile crisis and community stabilization services. Maintains records and files, prepares reports and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the intermediate supervision of the assigned Program Supervisor or Program Manager.

Essential Functions

Manage Region 4 Hub email account to include: Answering email correspondence/ongoing questions; Outdated/upcoming licenses expiring; Outdated/upcoming insurance expiring; Other expiring documents; Organization of virtual meeting correspondence; Drafting ongoing hub messages

Responsible for understanding and applying laws and regulations to facilitate the operation of Regional Programs within scope of work.

Assist with management, facilitation, and education surrounding ongoing training needs as it pertains to Region 4 hub providers to include: items related to Virginia Crisis Connect and Hub role in mobile dispatch training; general Hub protocols; mobile dispatch protocols

Manage yearly MOU renewal process with Region 4 Hub providers

Collaborate with procurement to facilitate maintenance of appropriate documentation in line with laws and regulations

Monitor BHL/DBHDS data platform regularly for satisfactory congruence with Regional data and records

Initiate and maintain effective channels of communication with service providers, stakeholders and clients.

Provide follow-up with private providers regarding inquiries about their MOU and/or related service questions.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop clear and effective marketing materials to fully encompass Region 4's mission, programs, and impact through a variety of digital sources and print materials to be provided to our stakeholder groups and the greater community

Engage with community partners to discuss and develop clear messaging to be included on marketing materials

Act as the communications consultant and expert to internal teams and lead communications-related training on crisis communications and message creation

Design and produce print materials for events and/or programs.

Maintain records, files and prepare reports as directed.

Actively participate in committees/workgroups as assigned.

Attend professional conferences and trainings as required.

 
Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

General knowledge of community and agency resources and programs of regional and state sources for the community service population. General knowledge of State and local licensure requirements, Medicaid regulations, confidentiality and consumer rights; ability to interpret and apply regulations; ability to establish effective working relationships with associates, professionals, community partners and management. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working with content in multiple mediums. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment. Excellent team working skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from behavioral health. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. .

 

Education and Experience

Associate’s degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, health services, public health, or related field and moderate experience working in a behavioral health setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred (and/or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Occasional travel within Region 4 required.

Starting Salary Range Negotiable depending on qualifications.
