We are valued for our technical knowledge, business process expertise and industry best-practice solutions.   Location Norfolk, VA   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description Herdt is seeking candidates at the journeyman-level to support an SAP S/4HANA implementation for the U.S. Navy. Our mission is to replace the legacy COST application, which is the financial feeder system that now provides Ship Maintenance Financial Information to the Financial System of Record. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Demonstrate solid knowledge of system development methodology, SAP project management and system architecture, preferably involving the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Material Management (MM) processes Provide implementation and sustainment support across various functional and technical areas of Navy ERP/SAP. Delivering presentations, trainings, demonstrations, leading/facilitating meetings with stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Development of Desk Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies, Guidance SAP S/4 HANA Project Systems expert responsible for the design, implementation and sustainment. Provide implementation and sustainment support across various functional and technical areas of Navy ERP/SAP. Refine Project Systems process scope, identifying any gaps when necessary. Demonstrate solid analytical/problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment Navy/DoD financial experience is preferred but not required. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC configuration and testing activities, specifically in Material Management (MM) Experience in SAP project implementation experience and should have completed minimum of two S/4HANA End to End implementations Cross-module experience highly desired Strong experience with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Requirements and Qualifications: Must be a US citizen Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, US DoD Secret-level Security Clearance Ideal candidates should possess an SAP S/4HANA Ceritification Ideal candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering , Mathematics, or Information Systems. Security Clearance: Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, U.S. DoD Secret-level Security Clearance Travel: This is a hybrid remote/on-site position; Approximately 25% travel required to the Norfolk, VA area Position Requirements: In order to be considered for this position you must complete the job questionnaire that is part of the online application process.
