Herdt is seeking candidates at the journeyman or senior-level to provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FI/FM to automate the management and external reporting of many components of the SAP system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide FI/FM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition; Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary; Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases; Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions; Define user authorization requirements; Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving FI/FM defects (‘break/fix'), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP FI/FM solution and system Support data cleansing and accounting review for data migration. Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed. Basic Qualifications: Ten (10) or more years of SAP experience. Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area, specifially Finance (FI) and Funds Management (FM). Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred. Must possess knowledge and/or experience with ANY of the following: SABRS, CFMS, WAWF, EDA, DCAS, and SMARTS Requires strong organization and communication skills. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Nice to have- experience in data cleansing and data set reviews for business compatibility. May supervise others. Requirements and Qualifications: Must be a US citizen Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, US DoD Secret-level Security Clearance Ideal candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering , Mathematics, or Information Systems. Security Clearance: Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, U.S. DoD Secret-level Security Clearance Travel: This is a remote position; no local/non-local travel requirements.
