Description

ERP (SAP) DATA MANAGER RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Responsible for supporting Navy Budget Submitting Office (BSO) data conversion efforts
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing data conversion metrics
  • Responsible for communicating fluently, accurately, and effectively with staff members, Government Subject Matter Experts (SME and other external entities), and PMW-220 in identifying solutions for errors encountered during the data conversion efforts
  • Responsible for developing data validation training materials
  • Providing guidance and recommendations for streamlining the disparate data cleanse and conversion activities between multiple groups including both manual and automated aspects of data cleansing

The ERP (SAP) Data Manager position will support the Department of the Navy’s migration of all active non-classified transactions to ERP SAP application, as the single General Ledger. Join a team of dedicated individuals to enable the successful migration of the U. S. Fleet Forces Command, Pacific Fleet, and Navy Reserve Forces Command from the SABRS accounting system and other feeder systems to ERP. Work to enable the execution of a Navy end-to-end migration, stabilization, and user adoption of legacy financial data to Navy ERP. The Data Management team requires demonstrated expertise in leading data management for a large scale (large-scale is considered as overall program implementation team>150 Staff) ERP deployment for a client.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Active Secret Clearance or ability to attain one

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory: U.S. Degree - Bachelor’s Degree

TRAVEL: 10%; work environment is mostly remote with occasional travel to customeer sites

ERP (SAP) DATA MANAGER EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ Years’ Relevant Experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ Federal Financial Management or logistics experience, with a minimum of 3 years ERP experience
  • Program or project management experience, acquisition manager, or business analyst experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior DoD SES staff, academia, industry in meetings, workshops, forums
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team
