Description

SAP ERP MIGRATION COORDINATOR DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills and integration experience with teams through the deployment and sustainment phases of the project deployment, organization change management, business process standardization, user management, training, communication, data cleansing and migration, and help desk operations
  • Experience with ERP deployment team’s integration efforts and experience working with Navy organizations to maintain overall deployment activity integration
  • Communicating fluently, accurately, and effectively with staff members and Government Subject Matter Experts (SME and other external entities) for analyzing problems, and devising solutions to satisfy customer requirements, as well as identifying and solving issues within an SAP production environment
  • Experience successfully implementing the controlling module to provide SFFAS 4 CFO Costing Accounting compliant data

The SAP ERP Migration Coordinator position will support the Department of the Navy’s migration of all active non-classified transactions to ERP SAP application, as the single General Ledger. Assist the team to enable the successful migration of the U. S. Fleet Forces Command, Pacific Fleet, and Navy Reserve Forces Command from the SABRS accounting system and other feeder systems to Navy ERP. Work to enable the execution of a Navy end-to-end migration, stabilization, and user adoption of legacy financial data to Navy ERP. The Migration Coordinator requires expertise in leading the successful site implementation of an SAP financial solution for the Department of Defense.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Active Secret Clearance or ability to attain one

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory: U.S. Degree - Bachelor’s Degree

TRAVEL: 10%; work environment is mostly remote with occasional travel to customeer sites

SAP ERP MIGRATION COORDINATOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ Years’ Relevant Experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ Federal ERP experience and working level knowledge of DoD financial management regulations
  • Program or project manager experience, acquisition manager, or business analyst experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior DoD SES staff, academia, industry in meetings, workshops, and forums
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team
