Description

The IMA Group is seeking to hire a motivated and communicative medical operations professional to join the Provider Relations team in Albany. 

This role is on-site, with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule after a training period and proven performance. 

The Provider Relations team is seeking an operational professional with experience in administrative, clerical, written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to multi-task. 

The Provider Relations Assistant will be responsible for the following

  • Interacting with our provider team to build availability calendars and schedule time off
  • Canceling and rescheduling appointments as needed due to conflicts, illness, etc
  • Managing email and texting application in order to communicate with the provider team. 
  • Facilitating changes and adjustments to provider time in the payroll time keeping and time off systems.
  • Overseeing scheduling and notifying providers of scheduling conflicts and other issues 
  • Communicating monthly provider availability to DDS vendors and confirming space in clinics where we have rental agreements to use the space
  • Managing open communication with providers via phone or email regarding scheduling issues and updates, as applicable. 
  • Learning of a travel system and managing travel arrangements for providers, as needed per scheduling needs.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Education 

  • High school diploma or GED, required 
  • Associate degree, preferred. 

 

Experience 

  • 1-3 year administrative, Microsoft Teams and Excel experience, required 
    • 1 year as an executive assistant experience, preferred. 
  • Previous medical office or operations experience, required
