The IMA Group is looking to add a detail oriented Medical Scribe to the VA team at our Galloway location. Part time and full time opportunity available. Training will be in Philadelphia. Performs various activities to support completion of exam questionnaires. Provides assistance to providers in obtaining claimant medical history, data entry, data collection, chart preparation and tabbing of medical records. Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to Act as an extension of the scheduled provider preparing the necessary chart documentation primarily by medical record review Accurately and thoroughly document claimant medical history obtained via phone or in clinic and input into data base Professionally answer emails regarding scribe assistance and requests Follow up on diagnostics that have not been uploaded to IMA portal, WATS Field phone calls and email communications from clinics for VA program Address emails from clients requesting report status Research missing diagnostics and incomplete reports Starting Wage- 16.00 an hour EDUCATION Required- High School diploma Preferred- Associate degree in Medical or Secretarial Science EXPERIENCE Required- 1-2 years relevant experience   Benefits- The IMA Group offers a fantastic benefits package which includes Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401k with employer contributions, LTD, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance and ADD.  We offer a market competitive salary with a flexible schedule and limited weekend hours.
