Under direction of the senior manager, the candidate may be responsible for, but not limited to, corridor studies, traffic impact studies; safety studies; operational analyses; traffic signal designs; intersection designs; traffic signal timings; ITS planning and design; travel demand forecasting/modeling; cost estimating; roadway lighting, and report preparation for clients such as state, regional and local governments and private entities. Responsibilities Assists in development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets Prepares technical reports, specifications, construction drawings, and environmental studies. Prepares design plans, including preliminary, ROW and construction, utilizing design software. Evaluates alternative designs. Conducts field evaluation and implementation. Serves as technical liaison with clients. Attends project meetings. Adheres to company standards for quality assurance and quality control.   Position Requirements Requirements Education: BSCE or BSEE from an ABET accredited engineering program Years of Experience: 3-10 years Registration: EI required or PE a plus Knowledgeable in DOT standards; specifications; design methods and plan preparation Knowledgeable with MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual and ITE criteria and guidelines. Must possess strong verbal and communication skills Must be able to work in a team environment.
