Email Opening Apply Now Title Lead Community Outreach Specialist City of Panama City Beach and panhandle region  Category Engineering   Description Job Purpose: The Corradino Group is seeking both a lead Community Outreach Specialist (COS) for active road and bridge construction projects in the City of Panama City Beach. The COS will work directly with various project teams to provide project information to the public and media at large. In addition to handling public relations, government relations and community outreach efforts, the COS will be expected to attend and present at community meetings and events, and creatively contribute to social media and community outreach campaigns.   Job Duties within the Community Outreach Team: Daily tasks include: Responding to public and media inquiries Preparing & distributing project collateral Attending progress meetings and providing updates at community meetings Developing marketing material Creating social media & web content Open house and meeting preparation Event planning & coordination, including groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies Perform project and stakeholder research, maintain project databases Maintain a strong relationship with project stakeholders Manage multiple projects simultaneously   Position Requirements Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications preferred) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel) Excellent communication skills – written & verbal Experience working directly with the public Hosting in person and virtual public meetings Exceptional organizational skills Extensive customer service experience Comfortable with public speaking environments Strong multi-tasking abilities   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Lead Community Outreach Specialist City of Panama City Beach and panhandle region   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
