Email Opening Apply Now Title Construction, Engineering, & Inspection (CEI) Project Administrator / Project Engineer   Category Construction   Description Construction, Engineering, & Inspection (CEI) Project Administrator / Project Engineer for Road and Bridge Construction Projects for FDOT, CFX, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and other Municipalities around the Greater Orlando Area. Current Assignment: 2021 - FDOT's I-4 Ultimate Public, Private, Partnership (P3) Project. This approximate $2.2 billion project is the largest transportation project in the state of Florida to date. Consolidate all field data obtained through Inspection Team and make recommendations regarding construction issues and project progress/status; prioritize inspections based on work progress; assist Senior Project Engineers in the evaluation and recommendation of non-conforming work. Future Assignments: Beginning in 2022, this position will be a critical member of our team in the Central Florida Area in terms of strategizing, marketing and performing on future CEI Contracts with FDOT, CFX, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and other Municipalities in Central Florida.   Position Requirements Education and Experience: A Civil Engineering Degree plus ten (10) years of engineering experience in construction of major road and bridge structures, OR for non-degreed personnel fifteen (15) years of responsible and related engineering experience in construction of major road and bridge structures. Abilities: The ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing); direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program; plans and organizes the work of subordinate and staff members; develops and/or reviews policies, methods, practices, and procedures; and reviews programs for conformance with FDOT standards. Certifications: Must obtain the following prior to start date: FDOT Advanced MOT Complete FDOT's Critical Structures Construction Issues Self Study Course Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
