Set up and explain portal use for patient/couple. Trouble shoot any issues patients are having with the portal Assign all appropriate paperwork/consents to the portal Verify eligibility and benefits within 24 hours of call Upload benefit information to the portal, notify patient by text and follow up call Explain and answer all patient benefit questions Enter appointments into eIVF and TEAMS accurately Confirm new patient appointments Ensure all documents are in place(registration/Insurance/pharmacy cards/licenses/photos and patient history complete) prior to their appointment Verify insurance benefits every 6 months for existing patients Verify and enter new insurances for existing patients Back up for call center Back up for scanning Back up for record releases   Category Business Support   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Location Commack- Reproductive Endocrinology/Fertility   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Requirements Education and Experience: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) experience with Office Practicum a plus 2-5 years experience in a clinical setting Self-disciplined, energetic, passionate, innovative A team player that can follow a system and protocol to achieve a common goal Highly organized and well-developed oral and written communication skills Demonstrates sound judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills Able to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information in accordance with practice, State and Federal regulations Confidence to communicate and outreach to other community health care organizations and personnel   Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and must have manual dexterity to work computer systems and keyboard.
