Interns will work closely with the Senior Director of Public Relations and Marketing to execute public relations, marketing and communications responsibilities on behalf of BGCSM. Supportive responsibilities will include: Developing and writing media/press materials Creating authentic storytelling content for BGCSM News scripts and BGCSM’s blog that demonstrates the impact of our mission on youth and encourages the reader to act Utilizing creative skills to help create quality content on our social media channels, including copy, photos, graphics, and video Analytics reporting Conducting research Developing/managing media lists Developing and implementing interactive digital marketing content and campaigns Fielding requests as appropriate Assisting with special projects, event coordination and media pitches Staying up to date on latest social media trends and news.   Our mission at BGCSM is to provide a world-class experience, empowering youth to reach their full potential as change agents for their life, Club, and communities. We’re excited for your interest!     Position Requirements Ideal candidates will be recent graduates or seniors studying public relations, journalism, marketing or communications. Candidates should have demonstrated ability in decision-making, interpersonal skills, being comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities; light duty lifting (30 pounds), possible. Applicants should highlight special skills and relevant knowledge, such as additional language fluency, social media or industry-specific experience on their cover letter and resume, as appropriate.
