BGCSM is looking for a dynamic Executive Operations Coordinator. Please see the following details:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our dynamic team as a Fundraising Communications and Annual Fund Associate. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing communication strategies to engage donors and prospects, managing our annual fund initiatives, and overseeing event communications. Reporting to the Vice President of Resource Development, the ideal candidate will possess a flair for storytelling, a strong grasp of digital communication channels, and a commitment to driving the success of our fundraising efforts. In this fast-paced and dynamic organization, the successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision. Duties and job descriptions will shift and change with the organization's evolving needs, making adaptability and proactive problem-solving essential qualities for success in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Communication Strategy:

  • Develop and implement compelling communication strategies to attract and retain philanthropic support that will effectively convey the organization's mission, impact, and fundraising goals to diverse audiences.

  1. Content Creation:

  • Craft engaging and persuasive content for various channels, including newsletters, social media, website, and fundraising materials.

  1. Annual Fund Management:

  • Lead the planning and execution of the annual fund campaign, coordinating efforts to achieve fundraising targets and engage donors.

  1. Event Communications:

  • Collaborate with the events team to develop and implement communication plans for fundraising events, ensuring consistent messaging and maximizing and tracking attendee engagement.

  1. Donor and Prospect Engagement:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with donors through personalized and impactful communication, ensuring a positive donor experience.

  1. Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fundraising operations, events, and leadership, to ensure cohesive and integrated communication strategies.

  1. Data Analysis:

  • Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  1. Digital Media Management:

  • Manage the organization's digital presence related to donor engagement, including social media platforms, ensuring alignment with branding and fundraising goals.

  1. Campaign Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on the progress of fundraising communication efforts and annual fund campaigns.

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in fundraising communications, annual fund management, preparing presentations, proposals and event communications.

  • CRM experience desired.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling and content creation abilities.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse settings with team members, leadership team and board members.

  • Passion for developing innovative communication strategies, fostering engagement and driving impact.

Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 (commensurate with experience)
