Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Grant Portfolio Administrator and Developer to join our team. This multifaceted role involves managing our grant portfolio, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, actively seeking new funding opportunities, meticulous documentation, and comprehensive budget management. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in grant administration, and a proven track record in grant development. In this fast-paced and dynamic organization, the successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision. Duties and job descriptions will shift and change with the organization's evolving needs, making adaptability and proactive problem-solving essential qualities for success in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Grant Portfolio Management:
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of grants, from research to application to reporting, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and deadlines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive grant portfolio, tracking key dates, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Grant Development:
  • Identify, research, and evaluate potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission and programs.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals, narratives, and budgets to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with program managers, finance, and other relevant stakeholders to gather information for grant proposals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed grant reports, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and providing comprehensive updates to funders on program impact.
  • Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all grant-related communications, applications, and reports for auditing purposes.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Establish and maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all grant-related documents, including applications, correspondence, and reporting materials.
  • Ensure all grant documentation is readily accessible and complies with record-keeping standards.
  • Budget Management:
  • Work closely with finance to develop and manage detailed budgets for grant proposals, ensuring financial accuracy, alignment with grant guidelines, and consistency with organizational financial policies.
  • Receive grant expenditures against approved budgets from finance, monitor and providing regular financial updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Generate accurate and transparent financial reports related to grant budgets for external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely submission of financial reports as required by grant agreements.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in grant management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in grant portfolio administration and development, with a successful track record in securing grant funding.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive grant proposals.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with grant management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems. Desired experience with Salesforce.

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience)
