Position Warehouse Associate  
Description

Join the immersive world of ART, MUSIC & AMUSEMENT at AREA15, where the boundaries between reality and limitless creativity blur. Welcome to the "What's Next District.”
The Warehouse Associate contributes to the smooth and efficient operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe and organized transit, storage, and management of materials essential to the district. Responsible for deliveries, inventory management, quality control, and logistics support, the Warehouse Associates play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe environment by actively participating in tasks such as packing, shipping, and receiving while upholding exceptional service standards in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Ensure the safe transit of materials and the proper use of equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining equipment and conducting regular inspections to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials.

  • Transport a variety of items throughout the AREA15 district, including, but not limited to: parcels, retail, signage, food and beverage inventory, equipment, furniture, rental items, decor, and more.

  • Monitor the unloading of all materials, ensuring materials are staged for audit, and actively assist in resolving discrepancies by notifying the responsible parties.

  • Efficiently store materials to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.

  • Conduct accurate weekly and monthly inventory counts.

  • Protect all company assets in the warehouse, including non-stock merchandise.

  • Provide a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel.

  • Identify slow and dead stock items, collaborating with teams to address concerns.

  • Work with operations teams to deliver products to assigned locations.

  • Safeguard and rotate out on-hand inventory.

  • Utilize proper lifting techniques and adhere to all safety guidelines.

  • Record and manage all damaged and expired goods.

  • Notify AREA15 partners of all shipments and any subsequent issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Partner with operations, events, production, and retail team leaders to ensure facility needs are met.

  • Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times.

  • Proactively promote positive working relationships with all employees and external guests, effectively communicating company policies, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, being a team player.

  • Capable of bending regularly, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and the ability to use a box cutter safely.

  • Team-oriented: supportive, cooperative, and collaborative.

  • Working knowledge of MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Forklift certification is preferred.

  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun exposure, and varying weather conditions.

  • Ability to acquire and possess a valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record.

  • Ability to work in low lighting and sensory-sensitive environments.

  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting during a shift.

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with varying levels of sound, crowds, and smoke/haze.
