Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Laboratory and Production Associate Intern  Description Job Description: Frontier Agricultural Sciences is seeking a Laboratory and Production Associate Summer Intern with a background in Biology, Agriculture, or Entomology. The successful candidate will work in a modern insectary and production suite in the Newark, DE area, formulating dietary products and mass-producing insects. Responsibilities include weighing, formulating, and blending raw materials, process monitoring, and the packaging and shipment of finished product. The associate will be required to document compliance with SOPs and must accurately record specified process data. This position requires reliability, multi-tasking, flexibility, a commitment to detail, and a willingness to learn new tasks. Summer Internship lasts approximately June 1 - August 31 working full time hours. Position Responsibilities: Insect rearing, maintenance of insect colonies Formulation and packaging of artificial diets Process and batch documentation, recordkeeping Inventory management Order fulfillment, scheduling, and coordination of product shipments Procedural compliance with SOPs Cross-functional task across various aspects of business unit Ability to maintain regular work schedule - Monday-Friday 7:00-4:00 Performs all other duties as assigned     Position Requirements Requirements: 2+ years of experience within lab, warehouse and/or landscaping enviornment, highly desired 4 year degree, a plus Basic computer skills such as knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems Self-starter with a willingness to be trained on new equipment and techniques Strong organization skills with ability to keep track of the progress of multiple tasks and operations within the facility while simultaneously managing one’s own work Good verbal and written communication skills Strong decision-making skills Willingness to work with insect larve within a production enviornment Ability to lift 50-75 lbs throughout the day   Compensation: $18/ hr   Location Frontier office - Newark, DE   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Compensation $18/hr   EOE Statement eMolecules is an equal employment opportunity employer.
