Job Description Interactive Government Holdings (IGH) is seeking qualified, trained and capable individual to serve as a IT Specialist III, Office of Military-Civilian Transition, Defense Human Resource Activity. The Military-Civilian Transition Office (MCTO) requires programmatic research, analysis, assessments, product development, document drafting, recommendations, coordination, synchronization, and analytic support services for Service members preparing for their next step in life - whether pursuing an additional vocational trade or higher education, finding employment in the public or private sector, or starting their own business; or Reserve Component (RC) members and their families adjusting to pre- and post-activation, mobilization or deployment. MCTO designs cohesive, modular, outcome-based training, events and courses that bolsters and standardizes the opportunities, services, and training to promote effective and efficient support of transitioning Service members and members of the National Guard and Reserve, their families and communities worldwide.   Position Requirements Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): The position of Information Technology Specialist III is responsible for designing, configuring, installing, and maintaining LAN/WAN hardware and software which support file services, email, print services, web, data transport, and system administration as task lead, functional lead, or individual contributor. Conducts compatibility tests on hardware and software; supervises contractors and conducts testing/certification of their work; provides technology training. Supports technology planning, program development, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. Provides technical expertise in emerging technology areas.
