Position Rocket Fizz - Lead  
Description

Join the immersive world of ART, MUSIC & AMUSEMENT at AREA15, where the boundaries between reality and limitless creativity blur. Welcome to the "What's Next District.'

The Rocket Fizz Lead will be a liaison between the team members and the management team of the Rocket Fizz store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to achieve sales targets and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Rocket Fizz Lead reports to the Rocket Fizz Assistant Manager and plays a key role in maintaining a positive work environment, assisting in resolving conflicts, training and mentoring team members, helping in managing inventory, and assisting in overseeing day-to-day store operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Set a positive example for team members and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

  • Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and teamwork among team members.

  • Report and assist in addressing conflicts or issues promptly and constructively, promoting open communication and resolution.

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Help train and mentor team members on best practices for engaging with customers and resolving issues.

  • Help communicate guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the shopping experience.

  • Regularly assess inventory levels as assigned and collaborate with management to optimize product assortment.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.

  • Provide guidance, support, and motivation to team members.

  • Identify training needs and help facilitate relevant development opportunities.

  • Assist in managing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales strategies.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times.

  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.

  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience dealing with customers and point-of-sale systems.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during a shift.

  • Comfortable working in a low lighting and sensory-sensitive environment.

  • Ability to lift 30lbs and use a box cutter safely.

  • Proficiency in the English language; additional language skills preferred.

  • Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.

  • Ability to commute between office and venue(s).

  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.

  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure
