Welcome to the "What's Next District.' We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our retail team as a supervisor. As a key member of our management team, the Retail Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering an exceptional guest experience (ART!), and driving sales performance. This position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, a passion for retail excellence, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Lead by example and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding guest service. Conduct pre-shifts to communicate goals, updates, and performance expectations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and development. Ensure a consistently high level of guest service that aligns with Area15 brand standards. Resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with a professional and guest-centric approach. Train and guide team members on effective guest engagement and relationship-building techniques. Track sales targets for the team, providing guidance and support to meet and exceed goals. Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to maintain brand standards and ensure a best-in-class shopping experience. Ensure that displays and product placements reflect the outlet's brand image and appeal to the target market. Encourage open communication channels for work-related discussions and constructive feedback. Foster an environment where team members uphold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and respect. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate product availability and timely replenishment. Work closely with the sales team to enhance product knowledge, selling techniques, and guest service skills. Work closely with leadership team to align operational strategies with overall company goals. Provide regular updates on team performance, sales trends, and customer feedback. Always exhibit the best brand representation by adhering to and promoting the prescribed dress code and grooming standards. Ensure that team members are aware of and consistently adhere to the brand's dress code, reflecting the premium image of the outlet. Encourage proactive task prioritization to balance daily responsibilities, including sales, customer service, and operational tasks. Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times. Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters. Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Minimum 1 year experience in a retail leadership role Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of fashion, festivals and lifestyle trends. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising principles. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak retail hours. Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Ability to commute between office and venue(s). Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
