Description

Position Summary

Profile Products LLC is seeking a customer service expeditor to join our service team that supports a rapidly growing business. We are seeking an individual with customer service experience in domestic and international order fulfillment although the prime area of responsibility will be domestic business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the key liaison between production, sales, customer service, supply chain and shipping to ensure information regarding urgent customer needs are addressed and communicated.
  • Plans, develops and fully leads special projects in CS.
  • Ownership of international process mapping, development and improvement.
  • Own “white-glove” solution as needed for specific customer or projects on an as-needed basis
  • Assist in the process mapping of required standard operating procedures.
  • Work with CS Director and CS Managers to provide alternative solutions to challenging customer issues.
  • Assist the sales team with new product/market launches. Verify literature and sell sheets were received by the customer service team and help support customers.
  • Help lead CRM implementation and assist in creating standard work between users.
  • Enter and maintain customer information in Profile’s ERP system and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Complete and update Profile Customer Master database records.
  • Work with the Logistics Manager and Buffalo Grove Customer Service Director and Manager to improve existing processes and help implement new policies and procedures in the order fulfillment process.
  • Assist in the upselling and cross selling strategy.
  • Interface with team members on root-cause identification, customer restitution, and process improvement to avoid future occurrences.
  • Learn Power BI and E1 reporting to help support reporting needs throughout Profile Products.
  • Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations/standard work.
  • Compile, record and report project performance and progress to management and key stakeholders.

 

 

 
Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Preferred experience in international shipment processes and procedures. Possesses knowledge of export terminology, and document requirements.
  • Is a proactive and creative team player who will look for and implement ways to improve and streamline processes while adding value and increasing the scope of outlined duties.
  • Able to effectively listen to and understand information presented by others and to ask questions as appropriate.
  • Able to communicate information and ideas clearly to others.
  • Able to prioritize and complete multiple responsibilities and duties with minimal supervision.
  • Is self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Experience in customer database (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Having these skills would be a plus:

  • Strong Excel skills is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

 

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent

 

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, write, speak English; proficiency in Spanish not required but is a plus.

  • May require overtime.
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).

  • Hybrid- three days in corporate office and two days remote. Internal office space.
