They will work at the direction of the vineyard manager and the winemaker to help maintain the vineyard and orchard including the wines, trellis systems, irrigation and fencing. They will also work the harvest picking grapes, loading bins and driving trucks and/or pulling trailers. In the winery they will help with all aspects of winemaking and maintenance of the winery, the wines, equipment and sanitation. This position requires only basic knowledge of vineyards, wineries and winery operations but a successful applicant will be able to stand, walk and be on their feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb ladders work in confined spaces and lift at least 40lbs. A good sense of smell and the ability to see color are also required. A mechanical aptitude is preferred.   Position Requirements The Vineyard & Winery Associate will perform the following duties as directed: Vineyard maintenance Grape Harvest Grape sorting, crushing, press and related duties Wine Racking Running pumps and managing wine hoses Barrel and tank maintenance Bottling, labeling, capsuling and packing Fork lift operations Clean up and sanitation Light repairs and maintenance of equipment Must have a valid driver’s license All other duties as assigned   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Shift Various Shifts   Division   Category Maintenance   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Division Village Pub Management Inc   This position is currently accepting applications.
