We have over 700 hard-working and passionate employees between our 17 locations. Position Summary This position provides property and grounds cleaning, various custodial/janitorial duties, and, most importantly, a positive and guest-friendly experience. The Groundskeeper/Porter typically will perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation. Essential Functions Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes Gather and remove litter May require the use of sweeping machines and landscaping equipment Maintain equipment used in tasks Maintain pool area, rearrange and clean pool furniture Report acts of vandalism or destruction of property Maintain grounds in an attractive, comfortable condition Power washing Assist with maintenance duties Wash exterior siding and garage panels, sweep entrances and staircases Requirements A valid NV Driver's license and auto insurance is required A comprehensive criminal background check and drug screen is required Must have reliable means of transportation Ability to be prompt and on time every day Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures Response and Communication Protocols, and the Team Member Policies Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision Team Members should be friendly, outgoing, and display a positive and upbeat attitude Physical Demands Must be able to Lift 50 lbs. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment Skills and/or Abilities Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external guests. Carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
