Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Safety Manager  Description Safety Manager Star Extruded Shapes, Inc. is a locally owned aluminum extrusion company with more than 40 years in business. We're currently seeking a Safety Manager. This position will assist the HR Manager in daily operations. Star is seeking a reliable and well-organized individual with excellent computer skills. Successful candidates must be able to manage their time and complete assigned tasks. Previous experience in safety and/or a manufacturing plant is required. Duties and Responsibilities: This position will perform all safety related duties including but not limited to: Bureau of Workers' Compensation Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). Plans and implements training for employees on work site safety practices Address safety compliance concerns and put preventative actions in place Maintain safety files and records Conducts post-accident investigations and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards Assist, set up and conducts training Assists in the development, evaluation and upgrading of safety programs Manage custodial staff for housekeeping and safety issues Manage on-site security staff for all security and safety issues Work with HR Department where and when needed Benefits Include: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Disability Insurance Life Insurance 401K Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Pre-employment drug screening is required but does not include THC testing.   Position Requirements   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
