Description

Location: We have several available openings throughout the state of Lousiana for Psychiatric Practitioners and Prescribers.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer and/or Clinical Director

Scope of work: Provide diagnostic, therapeutic and prescription management services to patients of the organization. Also generates laboratory requisitions and analyzes laboratory data.

Education: M.D. from accredited University or Medical School

Completion of a Psychiatric Residency Program

Experience:

  • Has experience in mental health services
  • Has medical license within the state of Louisiana

Responsibilities:

  • Provides mental health diagnosis

  • Provides mental health treatment, including prescription management

  • May provide psychotherapy services

  • Orders and evaluates laboratory data
