The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies, and communicate results to patients. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions. Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians. Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of chronic conditions. Perform minor procedures and assist in major surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and manage patient care across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all aspects of care in electronic medical records. Participate in continuing education to stay current with medical advancements and maintain licensure.   Position Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant. National Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in primary care or a related specialty. Strong clinical knowledge and ability to make independent clinical decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other healthcare technology. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. BLS and ACLS certification (if applicable to the practice setting).
