Description

Valley First Credit Union is expanding our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Team. Currently we have a hybrid-service staffing model which is a combination of internal and external resources. We supplement key roles with external resources to scale up faster or access subject matter experts to configure and adopt Marketing Cloud features and functionality, along with growing Marketing Excellence maturity. We are in need a Campaign Specialist who will be primarily responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of end-to-end campaigns, aligned with sales, loyalty, and marketing to support customer-centric programs.
  • Coordinate and support campaign implementation, including emails, landing pages, blogs, marketing content, meetings, and events.
  • Analyze the success of past campaigns and use data to make recommendations for optimization.
  • Own campaign performance reporting, including lead volume and conversion rates by channel to assess and optimize performance and update key stakeholders.
  • Engage hands-on with SFMC and/or Datorama to assist with campaign management and analyze activities.
  • Provide campaign content writing guidance or review to incorporate best practices as necessary.
  • Responsible for testing campaigns for proper content, function, and rendering using Litmus and checklists. Notifies stakeholders when campaigns are postponed, cancelled, and deployed.

The optimal candidate will also support the marketing operations in the following areas:

  • Build and maintain modular campaign template(s) that are responsive and incorporate brand standards and best practices
  • Assist in building highly dynamic campaigns using HTML and AMP script.
  • Perform QA testing to ensure segmented audiences and content triggered sends, mobile connect, and advertising are accurate and rendering properly on different devices.
  • Manage and segment audience data using the various Marketing Cloud tools (audience builder, data extensions, API, filters, queries, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot campaign development issues including template rendering, accurate links, accessibility, subscriber lookup, etc.).
  • Leverages SFMC tools and scripting languages to update content and enable dynamic content/personalization.
 
Position Requirements
  • A high school degree or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or related field
  • Minimum five years demonstrated experience in business analysis, project management, program management, process modeling and application design, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience
  • 2 years working in the financial industry, preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience leading campaign ops
  • 1+ years hands on experience with SFMC
  • Ability to work on multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR and CCPA
  • Salesforce Certifications:
    • MC Email Specialist (Required)
    • MC Developer (Preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; typing; viewing a computer screen and reading.
  • Climb/descend stairs in an emergency situation.
  • Operate routine office equipment including personal computers, copy machines, mobile and landline phones, calculator and others as needed.
  • Maintain working on a computer for six to eight hours daily, on average.
  • Work extended hours if required or requested by management.
  • Regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Salary Range:

  • This position is a Tier 13, with an annual salary of $79,127.84 to $118,691.76
  • The anticipated salary for new hires is between the low-end and midpoint of the range, depending on experience
  • The range listed above is based upon the geographic location of our Administrative Offices in Modesto, CA using the greater Central Valley area for our pay range calculations
