Intellectual Concepts is actively seeking three (3) undergraduate and or graduate students with interest in Urban Planning and Design, Transportation Planning, Engineering, City and Regional Planning, Economics, Architecture, Geography, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and other related fields of study to work with us this summer. We provide a range of services focused on transit and transportation planning. Planning tasks include transportation planning and project development; improving rail operations; information technology; intelligent transportation systems, operations support, and training; and business process re-engineering.
We are dedicated to global health services and support. Our health systems strengthening programs encompass capacity building through training and workshops, vaccines cold-chain management, health policy advisory including re-organizing of health centers, coordinating logistics, and conducting micro-planning, among other activities.
We provide information technology support to DoD, transit, and public health departments and agencies. Also, we contribute to our national security by supporting the systems and infrastructure that keep our nation and installations safe.

Examples of Duties
Planning Interns will:
Assist in preliminary project planning.
Perform data collection and analysis.
Attend community engagement events
Assist with the installation of Intelligent Transportation Systems.
Prepare GIS maps, graphs, and illustrations.
Assist with report writing.
Assist with meeting summaries.
Attend weekly staff and business meetings.
Participate in process improvement efforts to improve efficiency in business practices.
Use MS Office software to develop related tools and templates.
Helpful Skills and Software Proficiency: Excellent oral and written communication skills, research/analytical skills, quantitative skills, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with GIS, Adobe, and Microsoft Office 365 is a plus.
Program Dates & Additional Information
Internships will run from June 5 to August 4, 2023.
Interns can work up to 40 hours/week (max).
Relocation and housing are not provided.
