- Responsible for providing credentialing support to maintain enterprise wide compliance and consistency
- Oversees the development and implementation of the credentialing process
- Maintains records related to insurance contracts and staff credentials
- Assists in providing timely submissions of enrollment applications as well as tracking and follow-up
- Assists in maintaining credentials files
- Understand specific application requirements for each payer including pre-requisites, forms required, supporting documentation (DEA, license, CV, etc..) and regulations
- Maintains documentation and reporting regarding the enrollment process
- Assists in retaining records related to completed enrollment applications
- Maintains credential files for accuracy: medical license, board certification, professional liability insurance, DEA and other pertinent information are current and complete pursuant to expiration date
- Assists in processing applications for providers for re-credentialing
- Assists with other administrative duties
