One of the Twin Cities’ leading providers of services for developmentally disabled adults, we seek a Human Resources Coordinator to support departmental and office activities at our White Bear Lake headquarters. You will enjoy GREAT flexibility with your 32 hour per week schedule.


Your responsibilities will include managing employee data, facilitating recruitment efforts, administering benefits, and general office administration. Specifically, you will:


  • Manage employee data including personnel files, background studies, insurance records, Hepatitis B vaccinations, and motor vehicle reports. Ensure required data is entered into the Human Resources Information System.
  • Support recruitment efforts by attending job fairs and distributing materials including job postings, recruiting brochures, and flyers. Facilitate candidate review at other agency facilities.
  • Assist the generation of EEO, Affirmative Action, and other reports.
  • Administer benefits including employee enrollment, billing, and provider relations. Administer health and dental benefits with the support of our benefits broker.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation including session logistics, materials, lunches, and forms completion.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of substitute and on-call employees.
  • Train new employees and office assistants on the Employee Self Services system.
  • Provide administrative support including staffing the front desk, ordering supplies, mail, and supporting the President and Vice President of Operations.

Position Requirements

Required Attributes and Skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • At least two years of relevant human resources or administrative experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred Requirements: Experience in the health care field, especially in the area of developmental and intellectual disabilities (DD/ID) or a demonstrated desire to support individuals with DD/ID.
