PAI offers flexible Full-Time and Part-Time schedules that fit your lifestyle.  No evenings, overnights, or weekends!  As a Direct Support Professional, you will work on a team to support adults with disabilities. $1000 sign-on bonus in your first six months and $300 retention bonus paid out per quarter through June for all FT DSPs. SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE: Provide direct, person-centered support and services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Work effectively as a team member to ensure that the individual’s preferences and full potential are met. Ensure a positive, clean, and safe environment.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provide person-centered support, coaching, and supervision to individuals with varying levels of abilities. Read, sign, and follow all individualized program plans for each person served. Ensure the least restrictive interventions necessary to support achievement of personal goals. Deliver, or assist in delivering, programming and class instruction to a small group of individuals. Develop lesson plans or compile material to teach during these classes as assigned. Provide support to individuals working on-site or as a job coach as applicable. Assist with keeping work sites stocked, recording production levels, and accommodating individuals with varying work skills. Follow the site’s schedule, which may include the daily assignment of responsibilities including but not limited to: medication administration, lunchroom duties, personal cares, busing, community outings, job coaching, class instruction, production floor management. Promptly document related service information as assigned (outcome data, production levels, progress notes, etc.). Transport individuals served to and from their community job as needed using a PAI vehicle or own vehicle (mileage reimbursed). Work effectively as a team member. Supply ordering. Assisting with remote services. General cleaning. Organizing program supplies.   Position Requirements High school diploma or GED 18+ years of age. If the position requires driving you will need to be 21+ years of age with a valid license and insurance and an approved driving record. Pass DHS background study and OIG check and maintain approval to work without constant supervision required Punctual and exceptional attendance Able and willing to help with individuals using adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, with lifting and transferring and personal cares.
