This program is a 201.5 hour course that spans 7.5 weeks; consisting of classroom instruction, hands on field demonstration and practical application (clinicals) preparing students to sit for state nurse assistant certification(s). All clinicals are done hands on with the student and the residents in the Long-Term Care/ Skilled Nursing Facility. Primary responsibility includes planning, teaching and evaluating course participants in the classroom and clinical skills performance, leading to successful completion of the program. Qualifications: One year of experience as a licensed nurse providing direct patient care in a long-term care facility plus one year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing. One Year experience as a CNA Instructor. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Thursday Weekend availability   Position Requirements Experience: LVN License, 2 years (Required) DSD, 2 years (Preferred) long term care, 2 years (Required) Current CPR- BLS   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time   Tags   Benefits   This position is currently accepting applications.
