Description

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

Assist Director of Grants Administration in:

  • Contract and grant applications and associated progress and statistical reports in line with established deadlines;
  • Monitoring grant awards to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements; and
  • Building and maintaining relationships with funders.
  • Maintaining grant files to include filing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT DUTIES:

Assist Director of Grants Administration in:

  • Resource development including the solicitation of government, corporate, foundation, and private donor sources;
  • Grant writing, research, and preparation of funding applications and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: AA degree or equivalent education or related work experience preferred. Strong writing and organizational skills along with ability to prioritize and maintain deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must pass skills test.

Excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work with all levels of internal management as well as external entities.

 

Providence House/Burlington shelter is a 24-hour residential program, as such requires staffing at all times. When accepting a position with this agency it is important to know that the regular shift at the time of hiring is subject to change during the course of your employment, and that at times of staff emergencies or special events you may be required to fill shifts other than (instead of) your regular shift.
