Description

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, located in Franklin, TN, is seeking to add a full-time Reimbursement Specialist to our amazing billing team. In your pivotal role as Reimbursement Specialist you will generate revenue by insurance follow-up, claim corrections and appeals. You will monitor and pursue delinquent accounts for insurance to ensure proper reimbursement procedures are being met. This position is remote (work-from-home), but training for will take place at our corporate office. For this reason, candidates must live within commuting distance of Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing follow-up to resolve outstanding claims to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided

Taking the appropriate action to ensure all payments are received and all claims are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with departmental polices, procedures, and standards

Providing customer service, billing, submission, timely follow-up, denial management, refunds, and appeal functions for insurance claims and patient balances, as necessary

Experience:

Two years of experience in a physician practice setting or central billing office is required

Detailed knowledge of billing, HCPCS, CPT and ICD codes.

Experience with Medicare/Medicaid/Third payers is also required.
