Compensation Starting pay rate is dependent on education and experience. The minimum possible is $17.00 per hour. The maximum possible is $24.00 per hour.

Job Description:

Provide behavior therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and related disorders in their homes. Improve their quality of life by implementing individualized behavior support plans and appropriate developmental curriculums designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The primary goal of our services is to help these children function more effectively in their everyday lives. Behavior Instructors collect data on all behaviors targeted and meet with their supervisors weekly to analyze the information that theyve gathered and to participate in initial and ongoing trainings.

 
Position Requirements

Core Requirements:

1. High school diploma (required)

2. AA/AS or BA/BS (highly desired)

3. Prior experience working with children

4. Prior experience working with individuals with special needs

5. Motivated to learn the theory & application of Applied Behavior Analysis

6. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

7. Additional opportunities are available for individuals who have completed 12 units or more of Child Development coursework

 

Additional Requirements:

1. Live Scan fingerprint clearance

2. Valid California Driver License

3. Valid car insurance

4. Good driving record

5. Able to lift 25 lbs.

6. Very receptive to feedback

7. Available to work weekday afternoons and/or evenings for a minimum of 10 hours per week (weekend hours are also available if desired)

8. Committed to helping and making a difference in the lives of others

9. Desire to grow within the field (this position would be a great experience for future Behavior Analysts, Clinical Psychologists, Elementary School Teachers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, School Psychologists, Social Workers, Special Education Teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists, and many more)

 

Educational Incentives:
