REGISTRAR FRONT DESK - FULL TIME & PRN
Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas at Midtown, Brier Creek, Wake Forest and Clayton is currently seeking candidates for daytime medical office front desk staff, for Full Time and PRN. Candidates will have a strong ability to multi-task, are technically savvy, service-oriented, communicate effectively, and consistently display a professional demeanor in a fast paced/high volume environment. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional experience to patients, customers and physicians who contact Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Warmly greet patients as they enter Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas with both eye contact and a smile; this includes family members/others accompanying the patient to the Imaging Center.
Serve as a liaison between all customers, including patients, physicians, and imaging center staff.
Handle phone correspondence, scheduling of appointments, coordinate/assemble orders with daily schedules, and distribute to clinical peers.
Accurately complete registration ensuring patient work flow is optimized.
Ensure optimal customer service to all patients, peers, etc., by maintaining a pleasant tone of voice in all situations, answering the phone as quickly as possible, answering all questions, portraying empathy at all times and by returning phone calls as quickly as possible.
Verify patient’s insurance authorizations and benefits. Identify patient’s out of pocket responsibility.
Qualifications:
1-3 years medical office registration experience
Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
