Genesis is a provider of correctional, mental health and substance use services in a residential setting. This position will provide support to the Human Resources Department and report directly to the Human Resources Director. Primary Functions Post and resource job advertisements. Conduct initial email/phone screens with qualified candidates. Work with management to schedule and prepare for interviews. Review resumes and deem appropriate location of employment for qualified candidates. Assist with onboarding new hires (meeting with new employees, orientation, ensuring proper paperwork is complete, tracking and retaining new hire paperwork). Assist with filing and record keeping tasks as assigned. Organize trainings and assist with creating certificates as needed. Complete garnishments, wage verifications and employment references. Assist employees to set up a Paychex account Provide additional support on other miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.   Position Requirements This position requires strong computer skills, including: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook, etc.). Strong oral and written communication skills also required. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, we will consider candidates with an associate degree.   We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
