NAVSEA CIO - Circuit Management Support

  • Review requests for provisioning DISA telecommunication services and equipment for NAVSEA Enterprise.
    • Collaborate with DISA, NCMO, OPNAV, Warfare Centers, field activities, and other mission partner as necessary.
  • Draft and process Telecommunication Requests (TR)
    • Acquire and maintain access to Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Store Front (DSF)
    • Knowledge of DSF Application Modifications and Requirements
    • Draft and Submit Circuit Telecom Requests (TRs) for New, Changes, Amends, Discontinues, Cancellations
    • Obtain key circuit information (Service Points, POCs, Circuit Type, Bandwidth, MRC, NRC, Program Designation Code (PDC), Information Technology Procurement Request (ITPR) number, etc.
    • Review and approve pending TRs from different field activities as liaison to NAVSEA Circuit Manager. Maintain TR inventory for annual tracking purpose.
  • Provide support for Data Calls received from OPNAV, NCMO, and other organizations as they related to Circuit Management
  • Represent NAVSEA in meetings with DISA, NCMO, NMCI, and Customers
  • Support Circuit Management Policy’s, Instructions, Guidance
    • Maintain knowledge of and cognizance of updates/changes/cancellations/replacements of DoD, DISA, OPNAV, CJSI, etc. instructions and guidance.
    • Review and Research applicable Navy Telecommunications Directives (NTDs) when they are released to determine if it is applicable to Circuit Management.
  • Asset/Inventory Management
    • Establish and maintain records of all NAVSEA Enterprise circuit data to include but not limited to: CJON Number, CCSD, Service Points, eMASS Number, ITPR Number, Activity, Circuit Type, POCs (IAM, Gov’t, etc.), bandwidth, etc.
    • Conduct and assist with annual Review and Revalidation (R&R) of all Enterprise circuits.
  • Provide adequate support and collect requirements for the Circuit Management Share Point team.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years equivalent experience
  • +1 year Experience and knowledge of DISA Store Front application
  • +1 Year Experience processing Telecommunications Request (TR)
  • +1 Year Experience working with DISA and NCMO
  • +1 Year Experience coordinating funding for circuits including Telecommunication Inventory & Billing Inventory (TIBI) and Telecommunication Cost Accounting System (TCOSS)
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication
  • Secret Clearance
