Organizational Duties and Responsibilities • Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Boston Children's Health Physicians in its efforts to provide quality service and patient satisfaction • Demonstrate continuing education by completing all required annual trainings, as stated in the Training Curriculum, including but not limited to care coordination, population health management and self-management support techniques. • Complete annual corporate compliance training • Understand and effectively communicate HIPAA compliance, corporate compliance and client confidentiality • Ensure and/or remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulation Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients as appropriate according to the scope of practice • Use evidence based, shared decision making tools whenever possible • Document all encounters in the EMR • Bill for services appropriately • Perform population level health assessments such as vaccination reports to ensure that patients do not slip through the cracks and miss vaccinations or other tests • Support the nurse and medical assistant on the care team • Provide care in a patient-centered manner • Attend medical home meetings • Allow care team to work under standing orders to the top of their license • Participate in pre-visit planning • Take weekend call and night call according to the physician call schedule • Maintain board certification and enrollment in professional societies • Demonstrate excellence in both internal and external customer service • Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Licensure Requirements • Current licensure as either MD/DO physician or Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York • Experience in Primary Care Pediatrics   Position Requirements NYS license   Location Pediatrics of Sleepy Hollow   Full-Time/Part-Time Per Diem   Shift Days   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Req Number NUR-19-00002   Number of Openings 1   This position is currently not accepting applications.
