All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description Location: Philadelphia Navy Yard EHS Technologies Corporation, a dynamic Southern NJ based government contractor has an immediate need for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to support the CVN Navigation and Integrated Bridge Control programs in Philadelphia, PA.  The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently or on a team, leading a group of 3 or 4 developers.  Experience with Microsoft Windows Development is required, as well as a strong knowledge of C#, C++, WPF, .NET, Network layering programming ( multicast), concurrency and distributed processing, Graphics/ GUI Development, databases (SQL), XML.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages, as well as software, code and requirement analysis.  Identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis.  The candidate will be expected to integrate software with existing shipboard systems, maintain software testing and quality assurance.  The candidate will be working with the development team to design and develop Steering and Navigation Systems applications for use on US Navy ships.   Position Requirements Requirements:  A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.  A minimum of 5 years experience working in a related Computer Science or Engineering field.  Ability to work in multiple environments, onboard US Navy Ships, in the office, or in Engineering Labs.  Some travel is required, 10 -15%. The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
