EHS Technologies Corporation currently has a need for an Engineer I to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, HM&E Cybersecurity Branch (Code 531) located at the Philadelphia, PA Navy Yard.
ENGINEER I (E1):
Candidates must be able to support the development & testing, implementation & installation, modification and/or operation and maintenance of complex equipment and systems: electrical, software and hardware. Prior experience of at least one (1) year of technical expertise to DoD customers, preferably Navy. Be able to function in a dynamic shipboard environment working with operational users/navy personnel.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.
Target Experience: No required professional experience. Basic understanding of networking; hosts and servers. Be able to read and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams and draft schematics using Microsoft Visio. Have sound mechanical skills and be able to follow technical instructions and procedures. Understand fiber optics and how to handle it without causing damage. Understand firewalls and how to update white and black-lists and how to download CDP files.
Travel: This position requires the candidate to be able to travel to Navy homeports and work aboard US Navy ships in compliance with OSHA Maritime safety requirements. EHS Technologies will provide training to that affect for hired personnel.
The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
