The primary focus of the Compliance Officer position is to provide support to the VP of Legal Services and Compliance, including producing and maintaining all procedures and processes required for enterprise-wide compliance. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintain a comprehensive compliance program designed to ensure business units are in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements; Identify and monitor compliance issues and requirements; Develop a testing program that ensures compliance with credit union policies and procedures; Consult on new product and service development. Coordinate and monitor day-to-day BSA/AML compliance. Manage all aspects of the BSA/AML compliance program and with managing the bank’s adherence to the BSA and its implementing regulations Monitor and collaborate with the VP for interpretation of relevant statutory, regulatory, and judicial rules impacting the Credit Union. Assist with representing the Credit Union in meetings with the National Credit Union Association and any other federal agencies. Assist with conducting reviews of marketing and sales materials along with reviewing website activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and credit union policies and procedures. Assist operational areas, as assigned by the VP, in applying industry rules, standards and regulations to day-to-day conduct and monitoring levels of observance by the operational area, |
