Summary: Assurety Consulting, a leader in the postal/parcel ecosystem, seeks entry-level applicants for a Junior Technical Writer role. It is a fast-paced, robust environment where specifications are updated at a moderate pace. You will be working under the guidance of your technical lead and will report to the Program Manager.   Conditions of Employment (REQUIRED): US Citizenship or Green Card. The position requires Public Trust – Sensitive Level security clearance. Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related fields. Excellent communication skills to create, update, and review document-based deliverables.   Experience Needed: This is an entry-level position, and it requires you to have excellent communication and writing skills. Technical Writer researches, documents, and presents information in detail and easy-to-interpret formats. Prepare user guides with technical specifications under the guidance of the manager and the team lead. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers within the team. Review published materials and recommended revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding. Review manufacturers and trade catalogs, drawings, and other data relative to operation, maintenance, and organize information per technical specifications.
