Hospitality Operations Coordinator

About the Organization While the good old boys are drinking whiskey and rye, our young, rebellious team of creators have no time for nostalgia. We're too busy relentlessly trying new things to unlock the potential of America's oldest spirit, and we are just getting started.

Once the leading American spirit, Rye Whiskey faded from popularity after prohibition ...until a dedicated crew of Rye enthusiasts settled in an unlikely place, turning a historic dairy barn into a world class whiskey distillery in remote Shoreham, Vermont, where we keep the things that make Rye great, throw out the rest, and constantly innovate to make whiskey our way.

  • The Great Communicator: You'll be the vital pipeline, liaising with our Sales and Marketing brigades, as well as the top brass and our esteemed guests, ensuring their journey is smooth as maple syrup through timely email and phone chatter, all according to the grand plan.
  • Cultivating the FarmStay Legacy: You'll ride shotgun with the Director of Hospitality, helping to expand our FarmStay program – think bigger, bolder offerings, seamless execution, staffing prowess, and staying true to the WhistlePig vision.
  • Vermont Navigator: You'll keep your ear to the ground, sniffing out local gems and happenings that'll add that extra Vermont zest to our guests' visits.
  • Scheduling Sherpa: You'll be the master of the weekly roster, ensuring our FarmStay Hosts, Chef, and Housekeeping crew are where they need to be, when they need to be.
  • Keeper of the Keys (and Calendars): You'll wrangle our FarmStay Live Booking System and internal calendars, keeping everything shipshape.
  • Itinerary Alchemist: You'll craft bespoke FarmStay itineraries, weaving in onsite barrel selections, engaging activities, and memorable excursions, both on our hallowed grounds and beyond.
  • Offsite Oracle: You'll forge bonds with local lodging partners for those times when our hospitality overflows, managing those reservations with finesse.
  • Room Wrangler: You'll strategically determine the best use of our onsite lodging, assigning rooms with a keen eye, guided by the group's point person.
  • The Welcome Wagon: You'll ensure all travel intel, warm welcomes, guest itineraries, questionnaires, and waivers are dispatched to our guests with impeccable timing.
  • The Fond Farewell: You'll orchestrate all post-stay guest gifting and follow-up, leaving them with a taste of WhistlePig they won't soon forget.
  • And Whatever Else the Pig Throws Your Way: Other duties as they arise – we're all hands on deck here at the farm!

The Stuff You're Made Of:

  • Master Multitasker: You can juggle schedules like a seasoned bartender mixing up a perfect Old Fashioned.
  • Time Lord: Your time management skills are legendary; you can schedule appointments and meetings with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker, even when the clock's ticking.
  • Detail Devil (in a good way!): You possess an eagle eye for accuracy, ensuring every date, time, location, and name is spot-on.
  • Cool as a Cucumber: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can keep your composure when the pressure's on.
