Position Clinical Application Specialist I  
Description

Southeast Healthcare is looking for a dynamic and engaging person to fill a full-time Clinical Application Specialist I or IT Specialist role. This position will:

  • Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software-related issues and/or problems as requested using the Helpdesk system.
  • Conduct Healthcare IT related trainings for new and existing staff as it relates to the organization’s electronic medical record, new hire computer training, and staff lunch/learns.
  • Become the subject matter expert on our EHR and related applications.
  • Remain up to date on current medical and technological concepts.
  • Perform helpdesk ticket management.

Position Requirements

Candidates for this position should have:

  • Prior training experience
  • A medical background such as Medical Assistant / LPN / Social Work and/or IT support in the medical field.
  • NextGen EMR experience.
  • Medical office experience/knowledge strongly preferred.
