We pride ourselves on providing expert, accurate and concise results as a product of our highly talented and passionate team of professionals. We believe the team we build today will be the foundation of our future success. The Clinical Toxicology Technologist is responsible for preparing necessary solvents, specimens, and other components for the extraction laboratory. Specific Duties Prepare urine and oral fluid specimens for extraction using established standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ability to create stock solutions, QCs, and calibrators, monitor expiration dates, and pipette appropriately. Prepare solutions for manual and automated solid phase and dilute and shoot extraction. Operate automated sample handling instrument. Adhering to the laboratory's quality control policies and documenting all QC activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and instrument maintenance. Following the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance. Being able to identify problems that may adversely affect test performance and either correcting the problem or notifying the appropriate supervisor. Document new and opened reagents, calibrators, and quality controls for the EIA. Perform testing under the on-site direct supervision of a general supervisor. Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 Annually Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology or a related science, required. License Requirements: NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT), Restricted to Toxicology or Full, Preferred NYS Training License Eligible, Required   Position Requirements Physical Requirements Standing or sitting for an extended period of time Able to lift 25 lbs.
